Record and Archive Your Life – My Video Diary

It has become even better now!

my video diary After a few enthusiastic weeks from the launch, many developers forget their apps in the App Store, while a few manage to update with “minor bug fixes”. These things would really let down the users who have been using the app. An update should show really improve an app.

My Video Diary is an iPhone app that had been reviewed by us a few weeks ago and the developers have come up with an update now – a real update! Let me explain how the app works. It offers a digital diary where users could add video, audio and image files with notes. After launching this app, they can start writing the diary by tapping ‘Make an Entry for Today’ or ‘Make an Entry for the Selected Day’.

They can make an entry by adding title, notes and multimedia files (either by recording or by uploading it from the device). After completing it, this could be added to My Video Diary by tapping Archive Entry; an utilitarian app, simple and convenient! Let us see what the update has done to this app.[pullquote]The iCloud syncing and iTunes file sharing capabilities allow users to access information from all their devices[/pullquote].

In our previous review, we pointed out that this app didn’t let users remove the password, once they set it. Now with this update users can TURN OFF THE PASSWORD from the SETTINGS area, if they don’t want it. This update also lets users make or redo updates for previous days. The intuitive UI would look even better with some colors.

My Video Diary is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad and it requires iOS 5.0 or later. This app costs USD 2.99. A great update to a good app! Try it to see the difference!
