A Challenging word game on Android!
Word games help users develop their language and improve the vocabulary. By trying to decode the words, users think of different combinations and make new words on their own. Moreover, losing yourself in a game helps keep your mind of unpleasant things. This review is about an Android word game.
SplatWord, developed by Happixie, adds a new paradigm to the classical word game. After launching this app, users could see four sections in the main screen. By tapping on New Game, they can enter into the gaming area. This area sports seven letters moving around the screen.
All the users need to do is find out the words between 3 and 7 letters. After finding out, they have to tap the tick icon to move to the next set of letters. If the users manage to make long or complex words, they can gain more points. As the letters move around the screen, making longer words is a bit hard. Finding a letter in four or five letters and moving to the next puzzle would be the smart idea.
The scores will be recorded and better performances are displayed in the High Scores section. Settings area helps in enabling sounds and music. This game has pleasing sounds and it is worth to try it. If the users want to get clear about the rules, they can visit the Help section. As SplatWord has come loaded with more than 50,000 words, it will be endless fun.
I think the developer needs to help users by adding an area like Hints. It would motivate kids to play and learn more words. It would also look good, if SplatWord displays the possible words when the users fail to find any words for the available letters. Moreover, this game cannot be moved to SD card. These small things can be handled while updating the app.
SplatWord requires Android 2.3 and up. If you have Android ICS in your device, you might face problems while enabling sounds and music. SplatWord looks really impressive, but interestingly, it is yet to cross 50 downloads.
