Google has silently rolled out an update for its Android Market.
Android Market, a preinstalled app that comes with the Android running smartphones has been updated to Version 3.0.27. This new update comes with a new interface and makes new content available. This new interface, which resembles Honeycomb’s UI, hints about the upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android.
With this update, users can also purchase books and rent movies from the Android Market, through their Android smartphone. You should have got a notification for this update in your device by now. If you didn’t get any, please visit Android Community to get the APK and install it manually.
This latest version is compatible with Android Froyo (Version 2.2) and above.
