After integrating Skype into the Facebook, Microsoft is now thinking about getting it into its other products like Live and Internet Explorer.
Microsoft acquired Skype, the leading chat software, in May. Since then it has been thinking of strengthening its war against the search giant Google. Already Microsoft has a deal with Yahoo, while having its own search engine Bing. To stop Google’s efforts to rise in social media, the tech giant also joined hands with Facebook to help each other. Facebook video calling is the popular service that is provided by them in collaborating. Microsoft helped Facebook with Skype for this facility.
To tackle Google’s browser Chrome and the search giants various web attempts, Microsoft is thinking of integrating the Skype to its browser Internet Explorer and the web service Live. Skype on Internet Explorer will open door to real time, face to face document collaboration, inbrowser video calling etc., while the chatting software embedded into Live will tie together services such us Hotmail, Live Messenger and Office Web Apps.
