Jamie’s Recipes App Review

Try your hand in kitchen with Jamie Oliver

Cooking hasn’t ever been my cup of tea and I really hated it. I hated because of the end result and not for the process. I think you could understand the situation a bit. The real issue is I am very bad at cooking. I think this review would help guys like me.

Jamie’s Recipes is an app that could guide users to some of the best cooking they have ever done. This free app comes with 12 free delicious recipes which include beef and Guinness stew with dumplings. Each recipe has three sections – Summary – to provide an overview of the meal and some links to related videos, You’ll Need – to explain the needed ingredients and equipments and Steps – to provide the users with all the steps they need to follow to prepare the particular recipe.

Apart from these 12 free recipes, everything else needs to be purchased and it would cost US $ 1.99. Charging users for downloads is very much understandable for ads free apps. However, US $1.99 is slightly on the higher side I think, especially when the App Store is loaded with tons of free cooking apps.

Apart from this small issue, I think Jamie’s Recipes is a pretty good app. It has some great photos and videos to guide and see users won’t really go wrong. This app can enhance your culinary skills and make cooking a breeze. However, if you are a starter, please stay away from it. Users should know some basic things about cooking to hope for the best results form Jamie’s recipes. This app is compatible with iPhones and iPads running iOS 4.3 or later. This bulky app would take time to download as its size is 206 MB.
