Brilliant Quotes & Quotation is an Android app that has some 2,700 great quotes from more than 180 famous people. After launching this app, users need to select their preferred type of ads. They can opt for Notification type or the in-app ads model. However, after opting for an ad model, they cannot change their preference.
In the home screen, there are six sections – Authors, Quotes, Categories, Top 50, Favorites and Filters and there is also Quote of the Day at the bottom of the screen. Quotes section is loaded with quotations and users can sort it by alphabetical order, while the Authors section classifies them based on the authors who wrote them. The Categories section presents these quotes under a wide range of categories such as Failure, Humor, Love and Wisdom. If the users like a quote, they can bookmark it as a favorite and get it in the favorite section. Moreover, the quotes that are liked by many, feature in the Top 50 section. Brilliant Quotes & Quotations needs Android 1.6 and up and this app also works fine in low resolution screens. Therefore, it is compatible with most of the Android devices. I think this is a great idea and no wonder this app has crossed a million downloads.
