Cannibal Cookout – A Funny Gruesome Cookery Game

Can you handle the heat and pressure?

It is not easy to make a successful game for iOS devices. As the App Store has been adding thousands of apps daily, the developers have to make sure that design and concept is perfect for their gaming app. A good game needs to have the thrill element and must offer fun. Let me review such a game today.

Cannibal Cookout has two interesting characters called Hector and Elvira and they have to prove their skills by cooking Nibblers. Each recipe needs a special blend of ingredients that can be bought in the general store with the gold coins and skulls. Players also have to face the enemies like angry birds (yes!), policeman, firemen and helicopters to emerge successful in their endeavor.

Cannibal Cookout has a few in-app purchases ranging from USD 0.99 to USD 7.99. Therefore, it has no ads. As it comes integrated withGameCenterand OpenFeint, users can share post score online. It has seventy levels and a lot of achievements. [pullquote]The animation work is the highlight feature of Cannibal Cookout and without doubt designers have worked their heart out.[/pullquote]

In Cannibal Cookout, the first few levels really have no challenges and it is also pretty hard to earn gold coins or skulls. Therefore, it makes players to spend money to upgrade them. I think it should have been a bit more liberal in awarding coins.

Cannibal Cookout is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 4.3 or later. This free game has a lot of graphics, so it is a bit bulky in size (97 MB). It is certainly not an app for the users of all ages, but if you are looking for a hilarious game, give Cannibal Cookout a try!
