Secure Your Privacy With oneSafe Photos!

A well-designed secure vault!

It is safe to password protect personal images in the iPhones. There are many good reasons for this – for preventing it from falling into the hands of stranger or being posted online. There are a few apps available for this and let me review one today.

oneSafe Photos is a secure vault for secret pictures and private videos. It provides hardware encryption and AES 256 bit encryption to password-protect the data on the iPhones. oneSafe Photos has a list of albums to organize the photos. New albums can also be created according to the needs of the users. Apart from these, oneSafe Photos has many other features like smart view, mark as favourites and a built-in search function that make it more superior than other similar apps.

This app gives users the options of setting a 4 digit PIN, a traditional password or a pattern for protecting the vault. After setting the password, they can add photos to the vault from their phone’s library, or they can snap a pic and let it go directly into the vault. Therefore, they don’t have to mess with taking a picture with the native camera app, then switching to oneSafe Photos to import it to the vault. If the users forget the password, they can retrieve it with the security question. The break-in mode can be enabled to take the snap of intruders or to delete everything in the vault after 3 wrong attempts.

Perhaps the best feature of oneSafe Photos–for those who need a hidden folder–is the Decoy passcode. In the settings, users can create this Decoy passcode. Whenever they launch the app and enter the Decoy passcode, it opens another instance of the program where they can create folders of photos of a more…mundane variety. In other words, if someone demands them to enter their passcode, users can open the program without revealing their real secret stash. The quick lock button at the bottom of the screen can be quite handy at times.

oneSafe Photos is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later.
