With an 8 MP rear camera, iPhone has turned out to be a great device for photography. You can also find a few cool apps out there to improve the shooting capabilities of Apple’s mobile. Keeping in the spirit, I would like to share about an interesting photography application that could sharpen the skills of amateurs.
Pocket Snapper, an iPhone app, helps users in taking professional images right from their iPhone. Launching Pocket Snapper would launch the camera with an attractive frame that offers lots of impressive features. The left frame allows users to control the camera flash by letting them switch on or switch off. Autoflash is also readily available there.
The bottom frame adds the zooming feature to the camera. It looks great and works well, but I don’t think users could expect to see wonders with the digital zoom. The shutter is conveniently located on the right frame with a camera timer. The photo management tool helps in adding some amazing effects to the photos they shoot!
There are two iModels to let users take shots of them after downloading the videos. There is also a third iModel which could be unlocked after gaining some points. Pocket Snapper is very easy-to-use, but if users need some guidance they could get it by tapping on the bottom left corner. The Information area explains everything with a pretty infographics.
By tapping on the bottom right corner, users could launch a member system to signup with the developers. There is also a Gallery, where they could add comments to the images or mark them as their favorites by logging into Flickr. If the developer could improve this area and create an exclusive community for Pocket Snapper, this app could be an excellent alternative for Instagram.
Pocket Snapper is compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (4th generation), iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad (3rd generation) and iPad Wi-Fi + 4G and requires iOS 4.3 or later. If you use your iPhone camera a lot, try Pocket Snapper and you won’t regret!
