When this app is launched for the first time, it would ask permissions for sending push notifications (optional) and accessing the location of the users. In the homescreen, eventsions loads a map marked with events. There are + and – buttons to let users zoom in and zoom out the map.

By tapping an event, users can get basic details such as name, location and timing of the particular event. If they want to know further details like the ticket price, event description and the provider, they need to visit More Details. There is list view, for those who find it hard to deal with map view. Other things like color, map type, result size and zoom position are also customizable.

eventsions can find events according to the Facebook likes of the users. However, they can log out of Facebook if they don’t want the app to access these details. Events can also be filtered on the basis of categories such as animal events, art events, library events and business events.

This app looks fine and designed well, but it crashed a bit when we checked it. It would be great, if the developer looks into this issue while updating it. eventsions is available only for the users of the US and Canada. If the developer could include some European countries and Australia, this app can become even more awesome.
