Print n Share – Print from Anywhere

Connect your device to any printer!

Don’t you just hate it when you’re surfing the web on your iPhone or iPad, find something really cool you’d like to print, but realize your device has no connection to a printer? I know about AirPrint and there are printer apps that facilitate connectivity and allow you to send files, pages and emails to printers. However, not everyone has an AirPrint compatible printer, and sometimes those apps just don’t give you the full functionality you crave.

Now you can get remote printer access with just the tap of your finger. Print n Share is a cool app for iPhones and iPad that offer you access to printers over WiFi, 3G/4G, WePrint, and more. You can be just about anywhere and still initiate a print job. It may not necessarily print instantaneously, but it will print!

Print n Share connects your device to any printer, based on that printer’s connectivity mediums. If your printer is WiFi capable, Print n Share will automatically find it and add it to its list. If your printer is Bluetooth or USB enabled, installation of WePrint will be required on a computer that has connectivity to the desired printer. Once this is established, Print n Share will route your message via WePrint to the printer. If you are away from home or physically away from the printer, you can print via email using 3G/4G and a Gmail account. Once you come home, your hardcopy will be waiting for you.

This app does not stop at just print capabilities. From within the app, you can view documents, convert documents to PDFs and print them, read email, save web pages as PDFs and email them or print them, and much more. The list is astounding and I have to wonder if I will ever exercise all of them. It truly puts power in your palm by enabling true freedom to be anywhere and still access and share data. Physically connect your device loaded with Print n Share to a Mac or PC and it becomes another hard drive, so to speak. You can easily transfer documents and apps from your machine to your iPhone or iPad.

If you get stuck, don’t worry. This app is manned 24/7 with helpful hands to guide you through any debacle you may get yourself into. They want to make sure they have provided you with a great service and you have full capability to use all its features. Send them a note and be assured you will receive a reply within one hour.

The only downside to the app is the slightly complicated interface. Help is there, indeed, but when you first navigate through the screens and try to understand its organization, it can be confusing. I was not sure what each of the icons at the very top of the screen were for, and had to play around a bit to get to know them better. Some icons don’t make sense, but I am sure that more practice will prove beneficial.

All in all, this app is a super plus for me. I have been waiting for something like this. So many times I have come across a document, email or even photo that I wanted to print right away, and could not. I would realize that I had to go over to the Mac, login and find it, then print – forcing me to abandon the idea altogether. Now, I can!
