We have folders to keep our important or frequently used files at hand’s reach and we keep our favorite apps on our main screen for easy access. So, what about all those sites you browse for a favorite recipe, find that accessory you need for your iPhone, or scan for sales? Yeah, you can bookmark them, but store enough of those and you are back to square one: where is that site?
Now, with the help of pickWEB, take the sites you love, in whatever category they belong to, and organize them for easy finds and faster browsing. pickWEB is an app for the iPhone and iPad. Download it, register with an email address and start searching with ease. Find sites you love the most and add them to the Categories already set up, or make new ones specific to your needs. If you wish to customize pickWeb by adding your own sites, you will be required to set up an account. If you don’t want to set up an account, pickWeb remains just as handy and powerful. When you are interested in a particular topic and are not sure which sites will offer reliable information, find it through pickWeb and know that you are using a trusted site.
Let’s say your friend’s birthday is coming up soon, and you just want something unique to give. Deciding on a site to look for can be frustrating and possibly dangerous. You may stumble upon a site that looks legitimate, but may not be. Just hop over to pickWeb and take a look the sites listed under For Children, For Women, or For Men, depending on who the recipient is. These categories will give you links to eight of the most visited sites that have what you might be looking for, or at least some good ideas; and most importantly, sites you can trust.
The overall look and feel of the app is not so high-tech, but it serves its purpose well. I actually like that the Categories are listed alphabetically and pop over to a browser page that shows the top eight links. The page that shows the links is hard to read from the iPhone. It currently shows each link represented as an icon that you tap and the icon is a shrunken picture of the destination page. The app may do better with smaller icons rather than shrunken representations of the page for easier reading while on the iPhone.
Outside of that, this app is certainly a great way to get quick ideas and not throw away endless hours in search of sites that may have what you seek. The web is growing faster by the minute and trying to find things in the vast space of online shopping, information portals, social media or advice can be harrowing at best. pickWEB puts you on a path with a few suggestions that my offer up ideas you can pursue on your own!

Yesterday, while I was at work, my sister stole my iphone and tested
to see if it can survive a 25 foot drop, just so she can be a
youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now destroyed and she has 83 views.
