Sage’s Sky – Glide and Grow as You Soar Across the Sky

Launch yourself into loads of fun with a new game that rivals Angry Birds any day. Sage’s Sky not only gives you the thrill of catapulting your bird, otherwise known as Sage, into the wild blue yonder on an adventure that takes him miles away. The bigger and stronger he grows, the farther he flies. So, how do you get Sage to his greatest potential?

Download Sage’s Sky and find out. The download is quick and easy. Once you open the app, you will see a serene blue background powered by procedurally generated scenic settings. The launch involves a simple swipe to set him on his path from atop a tree. After Sage sets sail, you simply tap on the screen, anywhere you wish, to help him flap his wings. The more you tap, the more hell flap.

You will need to be wary of obstacles that come his way. These can range from sharp spikes to maniacal air drafts. Bugs can be good and bad. What that means is there are some bugs you want to crash into. They will give you points. Then there are bad bugs. Those will hurt you. As you see them coming across the screen, tap to allow Sage to fly over, or tap and keep your finger on the screen to allow Sage to fall below the uninvited guest.

What is really neat about the graphics is the seemingly endless skies that the game paints. It really brings more depth and interest to the game, keeping things fresh and new, because launching games can get repetitive real fast.

As for the growing, you will not only have to avoid obstacles, you want to be sure Sage hits as many point bearing items that you meet in your travels. As Sage soars, you will have to determine if a bug is worth hitting or not, then make your move. Its important to keep a sharp eye and think fast. A few erroneous hits and you are out.

Playing the game is simple and straightforward, but takes a few tries before you get the hang of it, as is the case with almost any game. Younger folks will, of course, put elders to shame by mastering the art of the launch in record time; but, fear not, you too will have it down before you can say fire!

The only suggested improvement the game could have is a bit of explanation on how to play somewhere in the app. I found this information on a blog posted by the creator. This information proved extremely helpful after reading it.

This game is a real hoot. It entertains young and old alike, keeping you busy for as long as you need it. The descriptions do no justice; youll have to download and try it out for yourself!
