MyPostcard – Share Memories Instantaneously with Digital Postcards

Picture this – you are on this amazing trip and you want to share your experience – now. You could send a postcard, but who wants the hassle? You have to find the right postcards, script the notes, find and buy the correct postage, and then mail them. I don’t know about you, but when I’m on a trip, I want to enjoy my time, not do work.

Now you don’t have to. MyPostcard is an app that lets you create postcards on iPhones and iPads, personalize them up with photos, and send them out to whomever you want. It’s that simple.

MyPostcard is a free download, but comes with in-app purchases that allow you to send paper versions of your postcard – all from within the app. You can create and ship them all from your device, without the runaround.

The feature filled app doesn’t stop with just postcards. You can create greeting cards, event invitations, birthday cards, and more. I have never seen an app that is so amazingly functional, allowing you more time to do what needs to be done, and still allow you time to create amazing cards. It’s like having a personal assistant who handles all of your mailing needs.

To start, you create your card. This portion of the app is pretty cool. There are a lot of basic layouts to choose from, including single photos to collages. They are all found on the Select Style step. Once you choose your layout, the app moves you to the Select Photo step. From this screen, you choose the photo(s) to fill the postcard template. From this screen, you can also choose the Frame color and you can even add text that overlays the photos.

Once you’re done with that, your final step is the Write screen. Here, you write your note to folks and add the mailing address.

Now, you are ready to send the postcard. This is why you use the app.

You provide the app will all of the recipients’ addresses and it will proceed to print each postcard and affix the correct the postage, and will then post it. The postage will be based on the mailing address, so you don’t even have to worry about that!

How’s that for convenience? I recently used the app to create a few postcards to send to family and friends, but now, I plan on using it to send out holiday cards this year. I usually spend 8-10 hours on my holiday cards; not anymore with MyPostcard!

Now, one thought that came to mind was the ability to share the postcard digitally, which would make this app super-efficient. I know many folks who would rather view the postcard on their device than have to worry about keeping the hardcopy. Think of the good it would do on the environment? Maybe in the next version.

I look forward to using MyPostcard to create postcards, greeting cards, invites, and more!
