Video viewing is what people do. We are simply not as interested in still photos, except for what we see on Snapchat or Instagram. What we do love is watching live action. Video viewing is offered on a multitude of media, getting to the videos are easy, it’s keeping them that’s the hard part.
Sometimes you come across a video that you know you’ll want to watch again or you will want to share with others. It’s easy to find, most of the time, once again. But, some videos are not so hard to find, and who wants to spend the time remembering the keywords used to find the video in the first place.
Now you can rely on Airy to keep those clips and movies, so you don’t have to look for another video again. The best part is once saved, they stay with you; you don’t need the internet to watch them because they will be on your Mac.
Airy is a YouTube downloader for Macs that makes finding and saving videos a snap. The app itself is for Macs only and works with YouTube. You simply download the app, link it to YouTube and the app paves a road to easily navigation through YouTube’s coffers, or even through defined playlists. Once you spot the movie or song clip you want to save, it’s as simple as tapping a button and you are done.
The really neat thing is that you can choose to download just the MP3 file of a song and use the app as a music player. You can even save the audio in different file formats of your choice.
Why use Airy? Because it easily integrates with so many different browsers. Now, you may be thinking that being on a Mac, you will just use Safari, but some of us like Firefox and Chrome and other browsers. Airy works with them, so you can stay with the browser you are comfortable with and Airy will seamlessly fit into it so your saves are integrated.
What really stands out in using Airy is the quality of the videos that are saved. Other apps fail to capture the full content along to ensure your final product is as good as the original. Maybe they are cutting corners to make the download faster. Maybe they are making the download easier. Whatever the case, Airy does what it needs to do so you get the best results.
The only thing I think is missing from Airy is the fact that you can’t use it on your iPad. I would love to download to my iPad when I am out and about, because let’s face it, we are not always at home in front of the Mac ready to download. It may take longer to download on an iPad, but you could do it and move on to another task.
Airy is a must for any Mac owner who wants to keep the videos and music they love so they can enjoy it when they want. Downloads are much easier and finding your saved content is effortless.
