Skill Bird Keeps You Busy

So, you’re sitting on the bench waiting on that cab, or the L-train and you are bored out of your mind. No? Say you are at home and the commercials are dragging on forever, or the professor is late to your class and if you don’t do something right now, you will fall asleep. The other games on your phone are too complicated or you can’t play them quickly—anything? If any of these relate to you, you need Skill Bird.

Even if you don’t have much reflexes or skills, this game is perfect for keeping you busy—the only downside is it is a little addicting! It doesn’t matter how old you are, this app was made for all people of all ages and skill levels. Anyone can use it, really! you and your family can beat each other in a little friendly competition, or you can beat your boredom.

The game is relatively easy; chances are you have played a game similar to it before. All you have to do is control the bird by tapping the left and right side of the screen in order to reach one of the circles, but you have to avoid the obstacles. Much like life.

Watch out though, because the circles will reduce every few seconds to make it a little harder. If you are more of the ‘loner’ type, you can play against yourself; beat your high score and unlock new levels. But, if you are the social and competitive type, you can even challenge your friends. Perhaps a group of friends before class or some coworkers—it works for all ages! Schoolyard play is about to change.

The screen is easy to read and all parts of the game are easily accessible! The bird is big enough to see and move around easily and the object of the game I simple, yet challenging enough to keep you engaged.

With as many features as it has, it is very usable. I didn’t have to worry about my phone freezing up or the game clamming up while I was playing. If you do get stuck at any point in the game; from not knowing what to do, you can easily get help and then resume playing without losing your current score!

If you are the type to share everything with your loyal Facebook followers, you can share your new high score there! It is sharable on any social media; Twitter, Instagram too! most games and apps require you to have an account or make it hard to share your gaming results, but not Skill Bird!

This app easily tracks your progress too, so you don’t have to worry about keeping up with it yourself. At the end of each round, you can see your best score, the games you have played and the score you just received. Within the app, you can also receive prizes and unlock gadgets to help you within the game!

What I like most about this app and the game is its competitive feature. When you finish a round, it will tell you whether or not you beat your high score, so the next time you are patiently waiting for that meeting or bored out of your mind in the house, you can beat it!
