Vampr – Connectivity for Artists All Around

Music lovers rejoice. Not only is it your dream to immerse yourself in music that you love and share it, you revel in the aura of musicians and how they create that magic. You attend concerts, you buy their music and follow them when you can; but, imagine if you could connect with them.

Vampr is an app for iOS and Android devices that brings music and the industry to you.

Mimicking the look and feel of well-known social media apps, Tinder and Bumble, Vampr defines the music experience at a whole new level. Users of the Vampr can set up a profile, entering as much or as little data as they wish, which makes it a very user friendly app. I don’t like when I’m forced to give more than I choose to.

Once you set up a profile, you can upload “auditions” and a biography. Remember, this app is a place to enjoy and to share music. You learn from others’ creativity and help promote your own talent. While is looks and feels very much like a dating app, I found it very much to be like the artistic version of LinkedIn.

It’s a marketplace for artists of all kinds.

Once you create your profile, you get jump in and start searching for fellow musicians that have similar interests or goals. Once found, you can create matches with others by swiping right once. This allows you the freedom to chat and share experiences and ideas.

But wait…there’s more. Vampr does not keep its doors open for just musicians. It is a collaborative venue for all that is art. graphic designers, singers, photographers, and managers of all can join and communicate with others of all roles in their space, and even out!!

When I first downloaded the app, I was impressed with its clean layout and colored display – real appeal to all artists. It’s not your typical setup, it has energy and vibe. With seamless functionality through Soundcloud and YouTube, you can create, post and share effortlessly. You can even set a featured piece on your profile, changing things up when you’ve created something new or just feel like it.

I found the integrations of each of these applications to be extremely easy and intuitive.

To top it all off, this app brings you closer to artists who have connections, which means widespread exposure for your talent and possible gigs. It’s a great way to broadcast what you can do and how well you do it.

While sporting a smaller outreach than some its heavy hitting siblings in its space, Vampr is growing at an impressive rate, adding new users every day, so the talent pool is growing, meaning more connections and more collaboration.

I look forward to see its growth in popularity and connections. Vampr is the perfect place to get your feet wet and grow with an app that makes your talent known.
