Most teams these days don’t sit together in one office. No, now they are scattered across the country and even around the world. Management of teams and the work that needs to get done has always been a challenge, but with the onset of the virtual workspace, it has become tougher – or has it? Intraboom is an app that makes management of projects, small or large, for business or for pleasure, easier. Simply put, it organizes cleanly and effortlessly.
It makes definition of each project and its subtasks a straightforward exercise and supports instantaneous management of timelines and tasks.
First, when you download the app, you’ll notice the clean layout, which I find essential when you are managing several projects simultaneously. The most important feature you’ll see here is the dashboard.
Here is where you get a snapshot of everything going on. You will get a sense of where each project is, and what requires your attention.
If you want to just view one project, you simply tap on it and now you can view the activities of that specific project only.
You can create as many projects as you wish. Once you have your projects set up, you can then invite individuals to join them. You can invite anyone you want, as long as they have an email address.
The Intraboom app supports seamless collaboration of messages and files. File sharing is powered by the cloud, so you are sure to find what you need and be able to easily share it.
The messaging feature of the app shares the same clean lines as the rest of the app. It’s so easy to find the group you want to send a message out to, or even to an individual. All you need to share information and communicate is provided in Intraboom. It makes it so easy to send out a mass message and collect feedback or send a note to one user.
Additionally, the app offers a group calendar, which means everyone is on the same page. There are no surprises and no one can say they didn’t know about a milestone.
I don’t really have much to say in terms of areas in which this app could stand to improve. It has shown its worth on all fronts. I would like for the app to be able to download and print calendar pages and screens directly from any mobile device. That would be super convenient.
Until that is a possibility, I plan on using Intraboom extensively at work and at home. It has made my life so much easier.
