While the app has nothing to do with dinosaurs, it packs a huge punch in terms of functionality and visibility into the crypto world, which is vital for those who trade this type of currency and are looking to make a few bucks.

What I liked about Cryptosaur, given the issues with personal data these days, is the fact that you don’t have to register to use it. There is not account and there is no sign ups required. Hallelujah!!
The layout is clean, making it efficient and easy to use. The app is also very all encompassing, connecting into and presenting real time data for the almost every cryptocurrency out there. The following is just a short list of the more well known ones that are supported:
The app already lists the 7 day pricing for each currency. If you want to hone in on one particular currency, simply type its name in the search box at the top and the app will only show those graphs with that particular name. For instance, if you type in just “Bitcoin”, the app will pull up graphs for Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash/BCC, Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Diamond, and several more. At first you’ll see a few, but if you swipe up, the app will search more and will present more graphs, if any exist.
When you do find the currencies you are most interested in tracking, you can tap on the star by its name to make it a favorite, so it stays at the top of your list. Splashed across the top in bold is the total volume trading – an instant overview of what’s happening in the cryptocurrency marketplace.
What I did not quite like about the search function is that it did not present all hits at once. I had to swipe up to see all of the graphs for currencies containing “Bitcoin”. When I first performed the search, I only saw 4 graphs, then for some reason, one more showed up, then I dragged the screen up and the app started to display more. It’s kind of misleading.
As a real time window into what’s happening with the cryptocurrency market, Cryptosaur is an app that should be on the device of anyone who deals with anything crypto.
