tikki – Calling App Creates Easy Connectivity

There are lots of ways to stay in touch with friends, family and clients, locally and globally. But, if you are always on the go and you find you need to make calls or message at odd times, it’s always nice to be able to use your mobile device to do so. Convenience is key – Tikki is the app that gets you there.

I’d like to say gone are the days of landlines – that’s not quite the case, yet. That said, most people all over the world are on a mobile. That means you don’t need the traditional telecommunications path of yesteryear to connect with them.

With Tikki, the receiving end of the call doesn’t need internet, only the initiator of the call does. All communications are encrypted, so unwanted eyes and ears are not privy to your personal conversations, be they verbal or written.

Back to landlines, if there is a landline you need to connect to, you can. Tikki offers calling plans that let you connect to landlines internationally. Another neat feature is the ability to purchase phone numbers in different countries. If you have family in India or do quite a bit of business in Argentina, you can purchase a number that “comes from” that country, so anyone from that country that calls that number either calls for free or only pays local rates. For business owners, this makes it so much easier to allow for clients to easily contact you.

To get the most out of Tikki, you want to invite users. It’s easy to do and once they join, you can communicate for free. If those users you’ve invited decide to buy credits in Tikki, Tikki turns around and rewards you with some credits, too! It’s a win-win for all.

If you are calling a non Tikki user on a mobile, the calling rates are quite reasonable and the quality of the connection is equally as clear. You can even lookup current rates by country before placing your call.

Whoever designed the app did an awesome job. I love the vivid orange and the clean layout. The app makes it very easy to invite others to join so you can connect for free, calls and messaging. Other great features the app offers include:

• Call Forwarding – if you can’t be in Tikki, then forward your Tikki calls to another line you know you’ll have access to
• Encryption – calls and messages are fully encrypted, so you know your data and contacts are safe
• Transfer Credit – You can transfer credits to other Tikki users.
• Easy Access – use Tikki from a mobile (iPhone or iPad). You are never without connectivity

I couldn’t find anything amiss with Tikki. It was easy to use and I was able to make clear calls to several friends within the US, Europe and India. Video conferencing would be the only thing needed at this point.
