Have you ever been somewhere and you fell in love with the color on the wall? It was so unique, or maybe it just called out to you. Maybe you were at a friend’s place and you really liked the color of the pillows, or curtains, or sofa. There are a ton of colors out there to enjoy and incorporate into our daily lives, and if you are graphics designer, interior decorator, or just anyone who wants to be able to capture a color and use it again, either in paint or to match it up with something else, you need expert help.
That’s where Color Query Pro comes to the rescue. It’s an app that downloads for a small fee. It allows users to take a snapshot of an item that has a color they want to recreate or understand better. By understand I mean it takes that color and breaks it down into the essential properties that make up and define the colors of today:
To use the app, all you have to do is point your device at the item whose color you wish to capture. The app leverages the device’s camera to take an image and then goes to work dissecting the color and producing the various color defining elements. You will get values for the RGB, CMYK, HSB and a HEX number. In addition to this, you may find the Brand of paint that captures this color best and what the name of the paint color is.
Once you have taken a photo of a color, you can make your own adjustments to the color to see if you can get it to exactly what you have in mind and then search to see if it’s a color that is readily available. There are about 16 different palettes of color the app has stored, including Sherwin-Williams, Pantone C, BEHR, Valspar, Resene, Colors of Japan, Federal Standard 595, and many more. If there’s no match, you can always take the color component values to a paint store and see if they can create something for you. With all the data you have at hand, it would be almost impossible to say you can’t recreate it.
The app allows you to store up to 25 samples, so you have plenty of storage space for any project you bring along.
What I would love to see is the ability to print out the “sample” from the app itself, as long as you have a printer app hooked up to your device supporting printer connectivity. Then you would have a hard copy of the color to take with you.
As a handy app that helps you capture and find the color you are looking for so you can easily recreate it for your own project, Color Query Pro is a definitely handy tool to have.

Its such as you learn my mind! You seem to grasp so much about this, like you wrote the ebook in it or something.
I think that you just could do with a few percent to pressure the message house a little bit, but
