Find and Stream All of Your Content from Streamport

While it sounds too good to be true, it is in fact a reality. Streamark has created a content streaming app that allows you to find the content you want, sign up for a subscription or purchase one-time viewing, and manage each stream, all from the one app. The app supports what feels like an unlimited offering and lets you sign up for as many streaming service channels as you want. The core benefit to the app is the ability to manage it all from one place – no more remembering accounts for each streaming service! You get access to video, radio and TV.

Downloading the Streamport app is free, but you will have to pay for the streaming services, which range between $1.99 to $4.49. The app itself also comes with over 5,000 downloads you can save on your Android device and watch when you want.  There are six channels to choose from: ArkMedia, ArkMusic, Keller Pack, Outdoor Sport Channel Pack, and Ananda Pack.

To create an account, you will need to provide an email address and create a password. If you would rather, you can sign up using your Gmail or Facebook accounts, and incorporate their services into the mix. Set up is super easy. Once your account is set up, you can search through the channels offered by the app to see which ones appeal to you.

Each channel has its own area in the app, and within this area you can select categories of content you want to browse, or search based on keywords. Once you find the ones you like, you make an in-app purchase to subscribe to that channel and then you will have full access to its content. Anything you have rights to can be viewed in re-run mode for up to seven days.

What I found most impressive is that from within Streamport, when you accessed a channel, the look and feel of the screen was as if you were in that streaming environment, with easy access back to Streamport. Once you were done with that streaming service, you can move on to another from within that channel or move over to another channel to watch something else.

Each channel continues to offer an increasing variety of content. The developers have been making deals with more TV streaming services like Al Jazeera and France25, and remain vigilant on changing up and staying current on content viewers that want to see. In terms of viewability, Streamport is available on all device types: desktop, smartphones, tablets, and smart TV supporting Android and HTML5. It even works with Chromecast.

I would say if there were one thing I would recommend the developers could work on, it would be to change up the background and layout of the app. It feels like the app uses too many colors, making it harder to find what you are looking for.

If you are looking for a way to get to content you want, across various streaming service, and be able to manage them all from one place, consider downloading Streamport. With streaming the way of the future, it’s a perfect way to get into an easy to use medium now.
