Steve Jobs Resigned from Apple’s Top Position

“Unfortunately that day has come”

Yesterday, Steve Jobs announced his resignation from his role as the boss of Apple.

Steve Jobs, the brain behind all the glories of Apple, formally announced his resignation as the CEO of the company. In his resignation letter, Job has said, “I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.”

In 1976, Jobs founded Apple (Apple Computers), with Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. In 1984, he left Apple as the result of a power struggle with the board of directors and founded NeXT. In 1996, buyout of NeXT brought Jobs back to Apple. He remained the CEO of the company till yesterday.

When he was out of Apple he had made some profitable investments like The Graphics Group (Pixar Animation Studios), which made him as the largest individual share holder of The Walt Disney Company. Under his leadership, Apple saw innovations like the iPhone and iPad. For the past few years Jobs has been struggling with ailing health.

Tim Cook has been made as the CEO of Apple as per the advice of Jobs.
