Whack Magic 2 – Wizarding Fun Whacking Away Monsters

It’s like Whack-a-Mole meets Hogwarts! Whack Magic 2 is a game where you have to zap monsters that slowly encroach upon the playing field before they get to you.

Colorful and dynamic, Whack Magic 2 keeps players fully engrossed and on the edge of their seats. Teeming with monsters of all sorts, your job is to figure out their mode of destruction and wipe them out before they destroy you.

You, as the player, are armed with a magic wand that zaps the monsters to smithereens. Game play is easy to pick up and as you advance through the multiple levels offered, the challenge will keep you engaged and entrenched like no other Whack a Mole game.

The game never gets boring because you get to choose from four different themes, each with their own set of monsters and difficulty levels.

When you first start playing you will be viewing the screen from just behind the wizard, which is you will be in the game. As the monsters slowly creep their way onto the playing field, your job is to zap them with the power of your wand.

If you are in need of some basic instructions, you will find them on the main page under Help. Tap on this and you can scroll through all the screens to see what you can do to zap monsters and earn points.

Different types of monsters will require different modes of destruction. For some, you simply tap on them and watch as the blue electric bolt streams from the tip of your wand and disintegrates it. For others, you will swipe either left or right to get rid of them. How will you know what to do? There will be a handy dandy small arrow on the monster telling you. But be aware, that as you advance through playing levels, those maniacal miscreants will pop out faster and faster.

As you play, you will see shields and other point-earning props appear. Be sure to pick those up before they disappear.

Note also, that as you advance, you will have the chance to arm yourself with more powerful and interesting defense mechanisms. Examples include:

• Small bombs
• Super bombs
• Ice arrows

You’ll need these because not only will the monsters come faster, they will be stronger, as well.

As you play, you will get drawn in to the app’s animation, which is precise and fun at the same time. The background music enhances the experience by keeping you on your toes with pumped up rhythms. If you don’t like the music or sound, you can easily turn each one off or on.

The only downside to the game, which is fairly minor, is the display sometimes feels crowded with all the fluff shown on each side – lots of bushes and things. I guess it adds to the effect, but can get cumbersome.
