Learning is definitely more fun and better when done in a friendly and conducive environment. This is exactly what the educational mobile applications provide. Animals: educational kids game is no exception. This app aims at making life simple for kids and at the same time trying to help them learn faster and understand more. The application is basically an animal encyclopedia which not only helps kids get the names of the animals but also know how they look like, where they live and how they live. The app has a collection of almost all, if not all the animals in the world. The animals that your kid will get to learn about are found in five continents, namely: Africa, North America, South America, Oceania and Asia. These are the homes to most of the animals in the planet and thus you can be sure that there is nothing that your child will miss when learning using this app.
Apart from the educational aspect, the app is also fun to use. The graphics and images are of very high quality and you can be sure that the children will like it. The app provides a platform for the children to be able to see rare animal habitats such like the African savanna, rain forests of the South America and the oceans.
The game is simple to play and straight forward. After you have installed the application on your android device, you would be good to go. The app launches quickly and there are no advertisements or anything else that may distract the children. Furthermore you don’t even need internet connection to be able to launch this app: once it is downloaded and installed you would be good to go.
The game is played in a step by step manner. First of all, there is the “where is” feature. The child should scroll to find the animal and there would be only one animal in the area. When the child has finally located the animal, the “take a photo” feature is activated where the child wins a camera. After this, nightfall will follow where the child has to touch as many animals as possible before night falls. During night fall the child will continue to locate more animals by the help of a touch. After locating all the animals, the child would make an animal jigsaw by using the camera and then a photo puzzle will follow soon after. During the photo puzzle the child would answer a series of questions relating to the animals. The last step is to locate the cameraman after which a video of the animals and their habitats would play and the game would be over for the child to play again.
The names of the animals in the games appear in seven different languages. Your child would be able to explore foreign languages while at the same time learning a lot by use of jigsaws and the photo puzzles. The photo puzzle in the games may be too hard for some kids. The developer ought to have put different game levels so as to make sense even to the youngest kids. Otherwise, a good app!
