Let this puzzle kill your time
Once puzzles were made through oral communication, then it reached its printed version, again reincarnated to get into TVs and radios and now they have come to mobile devices. The bottom line is we all love puzzles. Puzzle lovers would certainly know about Scribblenauts. Let me review the iOS version of this popular video game.
Scribblenauts Remix presents a simple puzzle, while the users start off and gradually moves towards the harder ones. Even those simple puzzles require creativity and ingenuity as there are multitude of solutions. It has 40 of the most popular levels from Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts and 10 original, in-depth levels exclusive to iOS devices. Hence, the “remix” title is suitable for this app.
Another impressive thing about this app is it uses iCloud to help players switch between devices. After playing it in the iPhone, a player can continue the game in an iPod Touch or an iPad from the point where he stopped. Therefore, there is no need for restarting. Really sounds great. 🙂 The developers have also optimized it well for the iOS devices to utilize the iPhone’s touch keyboard and its device shake ability (to get rid of recently conjured objects.)
The controls of Scribblenauts Remix have always been a thing of controversy, but I don’t want to complain as the developers have done their best possible thing to facilitate the player. I can’t think of any other easy way of presenting controls for this app.
Scribblenauts Remix is from a bigwig developer – Warner Bros and provides an engaging experience for the players of all ages. This is really one recommendable puzzle app – full marks in my book. This is a universal app compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad and it requires iOS 4.0 or later.
