Help the kids to win the game!
I think the old bedtime stories won’t please the kids of the modern age anymore – they love adventures; they love puzzles too. They always look for something new and refreshing. If you have a kid, then you might understand what I am talking about. Let me get into the review.
The Scroll First Chapter is a kids app that comes with an interesting combination of tale and puzzles. This app narrates the adventure of two small kids Zoe and Zolnar and their parents. After the death of their mother, they start their quest to find the Scroll, an object that has some magic powers. On their way they encounter a lot of hurdles in the form of puzzles.
These puzzles involve a wide range of interesting challenges such as pest control fly, energy crossword and money doubling. The users need to solve these puzzles on behalf of the two kids and of course there are clues to help. I tried these puzzles and successfully crossed the first two. That is impressive for the first try I think! These simple puzzles would certainly encourage children to learn.
They give that “grip” to the story line. This app has only the first chapter and let us hope for some more interesting puzzles and twists in the second chapter of “The Scroll”. I think the developers could have worked a bit more on the design of the game and they also need to work on their App Store page.
This is iPad only app and it requires iOS 3.2 or later. The Scroll First Chapter is free to download. Therefore, if you have kids and iPad at home, this app would certainly impress you. If you haven’t convinced yet, visit their site to have a try at the desktop version of this game.
