Clear the Decks with Organized App

Put your life in order!

Many of us prefer using note taking applications for making quick notes or quickly jotting down ideas. There are many such apps available in the App Store. Let me review Organized today.

Organized, a personal notebook is an easy-to-use hierarchy style note taking app. This app is a bit different from an average office suite. The interface is clean and easy to use and it allows users to organize their notes in folders. Therefore, they can sort them by date, priority, long notes and audio notes. Users can also move one note from a particular project to another easily via drag and drop.

Notes can be categorized by selecting one of the twenty different note types and this helps in better identification. By adding colors the notes and sorting them, they can also be prioritized. Apart from that it is easy to resize the notes – just drag it with two fingers. If users have iPhone 4S or the New iPad, they can make the most of the app by utilizing the dictation feature.

What remains to be said about Organized is pretty straightforward (no theming, no font-changing, etc.), with two exceptions – the lack of ability to add images and other media and the lack of searching feature. Despite these, I really like Organized. As I have password protection for my iPhone, I don’t miss this feature as an option which is generally included in other notes taking apps.

And, according to their website, developers would soon be offering the iCloud support, which would enable the users to synchronize the notes across various iDevices easily. Organized is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad and requires iOS 5.1 or later.
