RetirePilot is an iPhone app that helps people to plan their assets so that they may not struggle financially when they retire. After launching this app, it asks the users for a few basic details such as Date of Birth, Retirement Savings, Current Annual Income, Current Annual Spending, Expected Retirement Age and Retirement Spending.

After inputting all these information, user can ask the app to optimize. If the user selects ‘None’ here, RetirePilot would simply display the probability of successfully meeting his retirement goals. If he is not happy and want to improve it, he can ask the app to make the needed adjustments to raise the success rate. There is an ‘Analyze’ section, to see these data graphically represented.

This app is not really that easy to use. It would be a bit hard for those non-tech savvy users. And it doesn’t have any Help or Information section to guide. Moreover, users cannot access any area of this app without Internet connection. I can’t figure out the need of Internet connection for the app of this kind.
