So, it’s not as fierce a place as the island of Jurassic Park, but it’s good entertainment for anyone who likes to plan, build and play.

You are basically building a theme park that is set in the Stone Age. You begin with a stash of money and some land to develop. You build up with what you have, and try to attract as many customers as you can, because the more that come, the more “money” you make. The more money you make, the more you can expand and build up. It’s a business. Bottom line, you have to create some fantastic fun and make the experience for adventure seekers well worth their while. Return customers means more games played and rides taken, which means success for you.

How do you keep the fans happy? As you build rides, you are responsible for their maintenance and their usability. You need to manage the lines, the customer service, park help, good food and drink, and just an overall happy experience. How the park looks is an equally important factor. A place that looks happy and cheerful lends towards the overall “good” experience and more spending.

There are over 60 rides in all that you can build and include in your park. To start with, there is the Swing, Trampoline, Hedge Maze and Stone Chute. When you start collecting coins from riders, you can grow the park to include rides like Shoot a Mammoth, Hot Geyser, Ferris Wheel, Snake Rollercoaster and more. If the names don’t interest you, then imagining what they do should. Sell food and drink through various venues like a sushi bar, sandwich shop, drinking fountains and more. Strategically place resting spots and refreshments so customers have a place to recuperate and be ready to do more. Decorate with an assortment of plants, flowers and trees. Choose from an assortment of exotic trees, artisan flowers, totems and stone temples. Make your park your own, so it speaks to your style, in caveman terms.

As you build and grow, you can share ideas or just plain old compete with friends who have built their own parks. It’s almost a competition in business savvy and customer satisfaction. Not only do you have to keep your customers happy, you have to secure and keep happy employees as well.

The graphics are OK, and could be a little better. I guess with a majority of users being a younger crowd, this really does not pose a great issue, but I am sure that with some tweaks and adjustments things could get better.
