Supports some more devices

Popular streaming service provider Netflix has updated their Android app to support some more Android running devices.

Netflix is an American provider of on-demand internet streaming video in the United States and Canada. It has free applications for iOS and Android running devices. Netflix has updated its Android app to Version 2.3.

With this update, this app can now support 15 additional Android phones and one tablet. The list Android running smartphones capable of this streaming service include Samsung Nexus S 4G or Epic 4G, Motorola Droid 2 or 3, HTC Droid 2 Incredible or Thunderbolt. One could also expect support for Motorola Xoom, Icona 1500 and Samsung Galaxy Tab soon.

This move of Netflix is seen as a big step in the right direction for overcoming Android’s inherent fragmentation problems.
