Schedule Uber Taxi with Kommen Android App

Are you a frequent traveler especially an Uber passenger who wishes to avoid last minute calls and bookings for an Uber? You can now relax and have your Uber bookings done well ahead of time that too as a round trip if that is required, yes you heard it right, a return booking as well! All you need to do is download the Schedule Uber Taxi with Kommen app to schedule your uber ahead of time and voila you’re good to go!

On opening the app, you will be asked to login with Uber. Tapping Login with Uber asks the user to allow Kommen to access photos, media and files on their device. Whether to Deny / allow.

Denying will bring up a message Storage permission is needed to save the user data No / Yes. In order to continue and go ahead with using Kommen, one needs to allow Kommen to access photos, media and files on their device.

In order to use this app, you will need to have an Uber account without which you will not be able to sign into Kommen to avail its features. So the next step is where the user will have to sign in to Uber with their email address and password. Users who do not have an Uber account will not be able to continue to go ahead and use the app.

In the case of users who do not have an Uber account, they can create one from within the Kommen app. In order to do that one needs to input information like Email address, create a Password, input the Name, Mobile number and choose a display / communication Language. Once this is done, the next section is the Payment information where the user will need to input their Credit / Debit card number, Card verification number, Expiry date on the card, Postcode and any Promo code that the user may have.

Once this is set up, the user is good to go ahead and make advanced Uber bookings.Look at some of the features of the app to see how it makes life easier for busy people.

• To make an Uber booking in advance, just select your pick up location, pick up time, destination (optional) and Uber Type on the app. Tap Confirm Uber and wait for the taxi. It only takes a few seconds.
• You can see a list of all your Uber bookings under Your Ubers.
• There are no hidden charges or booking fees for using the Kommen app to make Uber bookings.
• There are options to pre-book various Uber products like Uber X, Uber GO, Uber Select, etc.
• You can book your Uber ride well in advance, for example, an early morning pickup to the airport or for a transport to work or others.
• There are options to cancel an Uber booking from within the Kommen app
• Kommen lets you book rides in some areas / cities that Uber app is limited to
• Kommen lets you book your round trip, so you do not need to wait to schedule another booking for return trips.

While tapping Login with Uber I am unsure of the reason why the app would request access to photos, media and files on the device. It may be a bit worrying for some users. You need an Uber account to log into Kommen. While this is acceptable due the fact that this app is used to schedule Uber, a user who would want to try the app will be quite not willing to input credit / debit card details to create an Uber account.

This app is very straight forward and easy to use.
