Spider Solitaire – Classic Game Offered in a New Way

Love Solitaire and just can’t get enough? If you have tried all sorts of Solitaire games and just haven’t found one that is entertaining without being overwhelming, sounds like you have not downloaded Spider Solitaire.

Get on your iPhone or iPad and download now. This app is a neat new way to play Solitaire. Great for beginners and experts alike, the app takes you from step 1 having you stack up your cards for just one suit, all the way to expertise level, where you have to make all four suit stacks.

Neat things about the app include:

• Customized Card faces
• Different suit games – play 1, 2, 3, or 4 suit games
• Card Highlighting – hints are offered by cards that subtly glow. You can choose those or just take a chance and go with your gut.
• Easy game play – all it takes is a simple tap to move a card.
• Customizable Settings – don’t want music or sound? No problem, turn it all OFF. It’s up to you. Just go to the app settings and make your choices. It’s your game, after all.
• Unrestricted Deal – cards get dealt even if you have empty slots.

To top it all off, the graphics are awesome and your eyes never get tired from looking at the screen. I even like that you can play in portrait or landscape mode.

I am not really sure why they called it Spider Solitaire, but it may have something to do with the way you work your way up the web of games as you master the number of suits to play with.

To makes things even better, there are Daily Challenges that you can participate in, allowing you to earn crowns that take you closer to trophies. The challenges change with every passing day, so no two are exactly the same, which makes for something to look forward to on a daily basis.

I would like to be able to share the fact that I achieved a crown or trophy on Spider Solitaire, but did not see an easy way to do this. I hope that they provide for some social media interaction at some point in the future for those who are interested. This app is also available on Android here.

This game is my goto for quick entertainment while waiting in line at the grocery store or just waiting for my ride to show up. I have always loved Solitaire, and now I can take it with me to play anywhere I am.
