It’s not every day that you find a different kind of pairing when it comes to the gaming scene. Most gaming apps have you battling aliens infiltrating your planet, defending a fortress as a tower shooter, or strategically scoping a hideout in search of the enemy. I’m about to introduce you to a game where you will have to battle with dinosaurs while you race around in a supercharged car. It’s demolition derby meets dinosaur power. How’s that for an adventure?
If you are up for it, download Dino Car Battle-Driver Warrior. It’s loaded with 16 graphically gripping scenes that throw you into a loop. The 16 different mini scenes are grouped into four gaming schemes: Gladiator Arena, Airport, Harbour and Stadium. Every four scenes pull you through four increasingly challenging and energizing difficulty levels. Once you get the hang of how to maneuver and attack, you will find yourself unable to put this game down.
Graphics is one of the highlights in this game, as it offers a pretty good 3D effect. You truly feel like you are immersed in the game and moment. The cars are a sweet ride, too. From the moment you open the app, you get to choose from any of the seven sports cars offered in the game. No waiting to unlock a better choice, no in app purchases.
Speaking of battle gear…the game offers 15 different types of weapons which help you go after the dinosaurs and score more points. What is unique about this game is that it offers, from the get-go, unlimited ammunitions, fuel, and lives. There doesn’t seem to be a point in time when you simply run out of life and have to reset or buy something or have to purchase any upgrades, which is refreshingly nice.
As you play, you can select from two viewing options: from within the car and a front visions that shows you the car in front of you. Your demolition vehicle can go up 155 mi/hour in the forward direction and a little over 40 mi/hour in reverse.
While the developers have done a great job of listening to their fanbase and have replaced in app purchases by making the game a purchasable app, it would be nice to see a few updates that bring in more scenes and variety. I am no demolition derby expert, but if there are unlimited lives and fuel and everything else, it makes it fairly easy to allow players to move up and complete all the levels. I look forward to seeing new levels and derby scenes to provide something to look forward to.
I can see getting quite a few hours of entertainment out of this app, because while you can’t die easily, you do you have a great deal of dinosaurs to take out, which is no easy feat.
