Serving the U.A.E. market, Finalrentals Rent a Car Dubai is an app that makes finding and finalizing your car rental easy. The app is free to download and is laid out in an easy to use way, so you won’t waste time scrolling through screens trying to find what you need. The app works out of most airports and malls, so pick up and drop off is convenient, saving you time.
The first thing that impressed me upon download was the simplistic design paired with the eye-catching use of just two fun colors. It makes the app’s content easy to digest. The app supports short-term and monthly rentals, as well as several locations around the world. It even supported Phoenix, Arizona!
From the main screen, you select the type of rental you need. From there, you enter the city, pick-location and the dates during which you need your rental. By default, the dates show a 1-week rental starting on the current date, along with a pick-up and drop-off time that is the current time, too. The app also assumes you are at least 30 to 65 years in age. If not, you must uncheck that option.
After entering your search criteria, you will see a screen with several rental options. Each option provides an informative overview of the rental, photos of the typical car of that type, and the rate per day, given the fact that you are renting short term. Once you make your selection, the app does a very good job of informing you of all optional charges, allowing you to choose what you want or skip. When you finalize your selection, you will then have to login or become a member. Rentals can only be done if you are member of the app.
If you were to choose the monthly rental option from the main screen, you would see the car rental options immediately, along with the monthly rate. Select “Book” to enter the necessary details to complete your rental agreement. Monthly rentals also come with free delivery, which saves you even more time.
Cities that the app supports include Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Umm al Quwain. Ajman and Al Ain are also included. The app also supports several key locations within Dubai city limits and many other emirates.
One minor update I would make would be to emphasize the title of the app, “Finalrentals”, found at the top of the screen. It’s currently in the blue that is also found throughout the app, which makes it harder to discern I would go with Black or Red. I also found the Terms and Conditions a little difficult to read given the format that was presented. This could be reformatted a bit.
This app easily satisfies the needs of anyone looking to rent a car in Dubai and almost anywhere in the U.A.E. area or globally, with an easy to use interface and rates that make any user happy.
